Europe-Brazil-Bolivia-Cuba Capacity Building Using Globally Available Digital Learning Modules (EUBBC-Digital)

(618925-EPP-1-2020-1-BR-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP – E+ CBHE), 2021-2024

The main goal of the project is to promote the innovation in education. Innovation in education is of high relevance in today’s society because it improves the life environment for billions of people. Development of more efficient higher education and energy, on the other hand, combines two pressing needs of humanity. The project aims at connecting Europe and Partner Countries in facing this challenge by creating, sharing, exploring and valorising knowledge, expertise and smart vision using high tech, human touch as well as global collaboration. The main CHALLENGES that the project addresses are:
  1. EDUCATION: Consequences of Digital transformation of Higher education for “emerging economy” countries, Higher Education becoming a data-driven platform business.

  2. SOCIETY: Access to high quality higher education in a global society, transforming “brain-drain” into “brain-gain”

  3. SCALABILITY: The partners have an urgent need for educational models in the technology sector to reach out to many more young people, including towards LESS FAVOURED regions and citizen

  4. ENERGY: Transformation from weather-dependent resources on Earth to useful energy services (to be used as a PILOT for DEMONSTRATION of the new educational concept), with a minimum of environmental impact.

The main SOLUTION the project promotes is to create a new, and for the Partner Countries, unique Open Challenge- and Digital-Based Educational Concept based upon a shareable “repository” global collaboration, with a high degree of student centred and entrepreneurial learning towards 21st century digital skills, and implementing this in a PILOT concept (energy).
